Both coordinators are scheduled to fly into the Big Easy in the coming days.

The New Orleans Saints are picking up where they left off with their search for a new head coach following a historic snowstorm in the city that grounded a lot of flights for potential candidates.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver is flying in on Thursday for an in-person interview on Friday, while New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka is flying in on Friday for an in-person interview on Saturday.

The Black and Gold are also expected to conduct second interviews with Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. However, both candidates are still fighting for a trip to New Orleans and Super Bowl 59.

This news comes just hours after former Saints player and defensive assistant Aaron Glenn was hired by the New York Jets for their vacant head coach position. Glenn was a top candidate for New Orleans, who will now look to the names mentioned above as well as former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, who spent four seasons as the Saints’ offensive coordinator under Jim Haslett.

This story is developing, and we will provide updates as more information is available.
