Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Footbal reports there are teams interested in some of the New Orleans Saints’ veteran players and they’ll be watching to see who becomes available in the coming weeks. Could the Pittsburgh Steelers be one of the teams? Wide receiver Chris Olave would make sense for the Steelers, who’ve been in desperate need of a No. 2 wide receiver over the last two seasons.
Underhill also notes there’s a feeling around the league that New Orleans will be open to hearing offers in the coming weeks.
The Saints are currently 0-4, so they could be looking to acquire some draft picks in the 2026 NFL Draft if there season continues to tailspin. The trade deadline is on is Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. ET.

When healthy, Olave has been very impressive, recording 217 catches for 2,750 yards (12.7 average) and and 11 touchdowns in his career.
However, Olave would come at a risk, too. He has had a myriad of concussions throughout his football career.
Olave missed one game with a concussion in Week 6 last season, returned, and then suffered another concussion in Week 9 that cost him the rest of his season. It was the fourth concussion of his professional career and fifth since starting college.
Olave, 24, was the No. 11 overall pick of the Saints in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He posted back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons to start his NFL career, but struggled through poor quarterback play and concussions in 2024.
He was less effective for the Saints last season, averaging 50 yards per game after averaging 69.5 and 70.2 yards per game in his first two seasons.
A part of that downturn in production was undoubtedly due to the injuries suffered by Saints quarterback Derek Carr, who missed seven games last season. But Carr will not be returning, choosing to retire after his injuries, leaving Spencer Rattler as the starting quarterback.
