Per an initial report by Jordan Schultz which has now been confirmed by New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore, RB Kendre Miller suffered a torn ACL on Sunday against the Chicago Bears and will miss the remainder of the season.

Miller injured his knee in the 1st quarter of game and after a brief trip to injury tent, he headed to the Saints locker room. Miller was ruled out for the remainer of the game not much later.

When asked about his injury after the game, Saints head coach Kellen Moore did not seem very optimistic saying, “There’s concern for both those guys. We’ll hope for the best but might be a concern for us going forward.”

It’s unfortunate for the 3rd year running back, who was finally posed to have a breakout year after missing multiple games the last two season due to injuries.

The Saints’ run game will now have to rely on rookie RB Devin Neal and Velus Jones Jr. to fill Miller’s shoes behind Alvin Kamara.
