Canal Street Chronicles
Although it was a bit of a slow start to begin his rookie season, New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough seems to be improving every single game.
On Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, Shough had an excellent day, finishing with 333 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. This matchup was also a rookie QB battle between Shough and first overall pick Cam Ward, who has been quietly having a good year. In the end, with the win and performance, Shough came out on top and outplayed Ward.
Due to this game, the Offensive Rookie Of The Year odds have had a massive change, and Shough is now the betting favorite for the award.
Shough has slowly risen in the ranks for ROTY odds in recent weeks, but for the first time this season, the Saints rookie is at the top spot. Another factor contributing to this was that Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan, the favorite entering Week 17, had only 5 receiving yards in his game.
In Week 18, if Shough has one more great performance and the Saints get their 5th win in a row, he may solidify himself as the 2025 ROTY.
