The event celebrated the museum’s 25th anniversary.
On Saturday, June 7, 2025, New Orleans Saints defensive end Isaiah Foskey, Linebacker Pete Werner, members of the Saints Cheer Krewe and Gumbo joined Community Coffee at Family Day to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the National World War II Museum in New Orleans.
Museum admission was free which invited visitors to explore the campus, enjoy live entertainment, interactive displays, and activities which included Sneaux-La sno-balls, Community Coffee Trolly and Saints quarterback toss as well as performances by the 41st Army Band and the Victory Belles.
The National World War II Museum opened in 2000 and was designated by Congress as the official WWII museum of the United States in 2024. The museum has consistently been listed as one of the top museums in the United States and the world by TripAdvisor and was awarded Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best in 2024, which presented annually to celebrate the highest-rated travel experiences, attractions, and accommodations based on traveler reviews.
