Scoring for the Saints opened up after Spencer Rattler found tight end Juwan Johnson on a back-shoulder throw with 1:14 seconds left in the first half. 9-7 49ers lead.
The offense responds to a forced fumble by the defense with a 3-yard touchdown from Rattler to Shaheed. 16-14 49ers lead.
Rattler gets his third passing touchdown of the day, finding newly acquired Devaughn Vele on a quick slant for a 3-yard touchdown. 26-21 49ers lead.
