Ryan Clark and his old pal Robert Griffin III could soon be at each other’s throats again following the latter’s oddly deciding to double down on his “Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark” claims, despite the back-and-forth it triggered several weeks ago.

Hate is a strong word, yet RGIII feels little pressure when it comes to throwing it around as he insists that the dislike comes at exaggerated levels where it pertains to Reese’s feelings about her rival.

Prone to getting into hot water over stuff he says, the former NFL quarterback defended Angel against the uninhibited racism she was treated to following a mock-up of the new NBA 2K26 WNBA Edition.

Someone photoshopped a primate to replace the Chicago Sky star on the cover, prompting RG3 to step in and defend her. However, he still slipped it in there that she hates Clark—Caitlin, not Ryan—then going further to state that Reese’s “inner circle” confirmed this.

“People in Angel’s inner circle called me and told me I was right and Angel Reese has grown to hate Caitlin Clark because of the media always asking her about Caitlin and being constantly compared to her,” he claimed.

Reese immediately took to X to call him out for lying.

“Lying on this app when everybody know the first and last name of everybody in my circle for clout is nastyyyy work,” she wrote in a post.

Not unexpectedly, Ryan caught wind of it and jumped on his former colleague with his own tweet, suggesting Griffin should have taken his loss and closed the chapter.

“Desperation will force you to make things up! It’s ok to take the L & move on some times. Lying just makes it worse,” he declared.

Ryan Clark & Robert Griffin III Headed For Round 2?

There is clearly no love lost between Clark and RGIII, which may or may not be the case with the other Clark and her WNBA counterpart.

Lines were crossed the last time they went at it, with Ryan having to apologize for referencing RGIII’s family in his argument.

It appeared that things were squashed shortly after, but it now seems no one’s willing to back off.

RGIII has since fired back at Angel, advising that “Instead of trying to check me, just tighten up your circle. They calling me and saying you hate Caitlin Clark, not the other way around.”
