Social media is ruthlessly trolling Washington Commanders superstar quarterback Jayden Daniels after the team posted a hilarious video of him running to organized team activities (OTAs).
Ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Commanders got back together for OTAs. Jayden Daniels and the 2024 NFC runner-ups hold the No. 29 selection in this year’s draft and have five picks altogether.
On X/Twitter, the Commanders shared a video of an enthusiastic Daniels jogging into the club’s training center for OTAs:

During Jayden Daniels’ historic rookie year, Regina Jackson made headlines when she claimed that she always watches carefully to ensure that her son doesn’t find a girlfriend who only likes him for his money. Hence, the jokes about Daniels and his mother on social media here.
But hey, there’s nothing wrong with being close to your parents. If Daniels and his mother aren’t afraid to show their close relationship to the media, then we’re sure they have zero concern about what the trolls say.
The Commanders drafted Daniels with the No. 2 selection a year ago, after the Chicago Bears took Caleb Williams with the first overall pick. And it’s not a stretch to believe this could go down as the best NFL Draft 1-2 tandem in history.
Daniels had arguably the greatest rookie season in league history, completing 69 percent of his pass attempts for 3,568 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions to go along with 891 rushing yards and six rushing scores.
