Philadelphia Eagles fans have a reputation for being a lot more passionate and boisterous than other NFL fanbases. And they certainly lived up to that billing on Sunday night.
The Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59, securing the franchise’s second championship in seven seasons. Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP after throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns to go along with a game-high 72 rushing yards and one rushing score.
After the victory, cameras caught rowdy Eagles fans celebrating by riding horses through downtown Philadelphia:

That, folks, is how you celebrate your team winning the Super Bowl.
Considering that the Chiefs defeated the Eagles in Super Bowl 57 in controversial fashion (a questionable holding penalty against James Bradberry), it’s safe to say that this win feels a little sweeter for Philly and its fans.
When the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52 seven years ago, it certainly felt like the start of something special. With a great mix of young and veteran talent, why couldn’t Philly win more championships after securing the first with backup QB Nick Foles?
Well, it turned out to be a surprisingly longer wait for the Eagles to get their hands on that next Lombardi Trophy. But finally, they’re world champions again and have pushed themselves closer to dynasty status.
