The Baltimore Ravens lost their third straight game in Week 6, falling to the Los Angeles Rams 17-3. The Ravens have been outscored by double digits in three consecutive games and are now 1-5 ahead of the upcoming bye week. Here are Baltimore Beatdown’s Roundtable Reactions to the team’s defeat:
The Ravens were halfway to finding competent football today. Derrick Henry ran the ball well and the defense limited the Rams well in the first half. But it all fell apart quickly. Cooper Rush missed throws, Flowers fumbled twice, the Ravens couldn’t convert from the 1-yard line (again), and the defense collapsed familiarly in the second half. Tyler Huntley seemingly added a jolt late in the fourth quarter but his drive ended pointless as well.
We are now at a massive crossroads for this team. They are at 1-5. Do they make coaching changes during the bye week? Do they start selling pieces? Do they buy pieces at the bye week?!? Can they find a win out of the bye and try and go on a run.

For the first time all season, the Ravens’ defense finally put forth an inspired effort against a very talented opponent. Unfortunately, they were again not able to play balanced or consistent football. Although they ran the ball with success, the Ravens’ three turnovers on offense were backbreaking and too much to overcome. The same can be said for failing to score a touchdown from one yard out just before halftime, where the Ravens were stuffed on three straight run attempts. The Ravens got some fortunate luck in the first half to help keep themselves in the game but failed to capitalize and instead watched their chances quickly fizzle out in the third quarter.

The Ravens’ loss to the Rams is arguably more frustrating than last week‘s shellacking at the hands of the Texans. It’s one thing to get blown out in your own building with several of your best players sidelined. It’s another to waste at least a half-dozen opportunities to take control of a game that they were expected to lose.
The truth is that Baltimore got lucky throughout Sunday’s game and they refused to take advantage of it. The Rams made plenty of unforced errors, but the Ravens consistently responded with mistakes of their own. That’s a hard way to win a football game in general; without Lamar Jackson, it’s impossible.
The Ravens badly needed to avoid a one and five record going into their bye week, but that’s exactly where they’ll be. If Lamar Jackson isn’t ready by Week 8, it might be curtains on the 2025 season. — Nikhil Mehta
I went into this game expecting the Rams to score at will, so for the Ravens defense to allow just 17 points was quite...
