The New England Patriots now employ one less member of the Kraft family.
Josh Kraft is leaving both of his positions within the organization, as pointed out by Pats Pulpit’s Bernd Buchmasser. Josh, one of owner Robert Kraft’s four sons, previously served on the club’s board of directors and was the head of the New England Patriots Foundation.
New England’s official media guide made note of the changes.
Josh Kraft, of course, is focusing his efforts on the race for mayor in Boston.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu holds a significant lead over Kraft with the city’s preliminary election closing in, 59%-29%, according to the new Boston Globe/Suffolk University poll out Monday. Robert Capucci and Domingos DaRosa, the other two candidates, are polling at 0.8% and 2.8%, respectively.
The Patriots have not released any information regarding his role within the organization since he announced his intention to run.
