New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is also the proud owner of a rare luxury car he got from his celebrity billionaire friends, Jay-Z and Michael Rubin.
Kraft, 84, is among America’s elite and, by virtue of that, has plenty of rich friends. Rich people gift each other all the time, giving credence to the notion of the rich getting richer, as it seems the richer you are, the more free stuff you get.
The Pats owner already has it made and has had it made for a while, but he got a custom blue Bentley from his aforementioned pals when he turned 80, with a Continental GT Speed dropping in from the rapper and Fanatics founder that cost them $240,000.
They surprised him with it back in 2021, letting him know they wanted to get him something he would have never gotten for himself. Kraft was visibly moved and could not hide his shock.
He was also curious as to how they were even able to get it and was told it was delivered from Florida on a flatbed.
The 84-year-old was spotted driving the Bentley after fulfilling his guest obligations at Rubin’s 4th of July Hamptons soiree.
As you might imagine, the car is quite the beast under the hood. It boasts a 650-hp 6-liter engine that can see the needle go from zero to 60 in a mere four seconds.
The turbocharged 650-hp 6-liter engine helps the car go from 0 to 60 mph in just four seconds.
Of course, Kraft will be more concerned about the future of his football team, which has so far failed to cope with Tom Brady’s departure. He has had to fire two coaches in the last two seasons, handing the reins to Mike Vrabel, whom he hopes will drag them out of the mud.
