The Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders have quickly emerged as the two odds-on favorites to land New York Jets quarterback New York Jets in the offseason.

Speaking before kickoff for Super Bowl 59 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer reported that the Jets told Aaron Rodgers that they plan “to move on from him.”

New York could either trade Rodgers or release and send him to free agency. Assuming Rodgers decides to play a 21st season, there shouldn’t be a shortage of interest for the four-time MVP.

According to the DraftKings sportsbook, the Steelers are the early favorites to land Aaron Rodgers at +200. They’re followed by the Raiders (+300), with the San Francisco 49ers interestingly carrying the third-best odds at +350.

Rounding out the top five are the Minnesota Vikings (+400) and Tennessee Titans (+750). The Titans hold the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but acquiring Rodgers makes sense if they aren’t keen on using that selection on a quarterback.

Aaron Rodgers Still Has Some Football Left In Him

The Jets were by far football’s biggest disappointment in 2024, but the 41-year-old Rodgers showed that he can still play at an adequate level. Rodgers completed 63.0 percent of pass attempts for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Plenty of teams need an upgrade at QB this offseason, so Rodgers should have several options to consider if he decides to return in 2025.
