One of the Green Bay Packers star wide receivers could soon be on the move.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are still in need of another outside wide receiver to pair with DK Metcalf in their offense, but according to a recent report, they may finally have their answer at the position.

Per Easton Butler of Packer Report, several teams have called the Green Bay Packers to ask about the availability of wide receiver Romeo Doubs and at least two teams have an offer on the table.

It’s unclear if the Steelers are one of those teams that have inquired about Doubs’ availability, but it’s safe to assume they are given their need at wide receiver and how aggressive Omar Khan has been since taking over as general manager.

Doubs, 25, could prove to be the perfect addition for Pittsburgh. He has recorded 149 catches for 1,768 yards and 15 touchdowns through the first three years of his NFL career.

However, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur did shut down any speculation that Doubs would be playing elsewhere in 2025 leading up to the season.

“I’d be very shocked if he was ever going anywhere. No, that will not happen because Rome is out there competing and doing everything that we need to see from him,” LaFleur said on Up & Adams. “Obviously, he’s played a lot of ball for us and at a high level. He’s been a great teammate and he goes out there and you can count on him every day.”

At the time, Green Bay was dealing with several injuries at the position. So it could be that the team is now open to trading Doubs, who is entering the final year of his rookie deal, with more healthy options available.

“We don’t have a lot of depth right now. We’re missing a lot of guys,” LaFleur said. “It’s gonna come down to these guys’ ability to go out there and make plays for us.”

Only time will tell if the Packers are willing to deal Doubs, but if they are, expect the Steelers to be very much in the mix.
