Janocko will replace Charles London as Seattle’s QBs coach.
The Seattle Seahawks have quickly (and unsurprisingly) filled their quarterbacks coach vacancy.
Having added former New Orleans Saints offensive line coach John Benton to the staff to replace Scott Huff, fellow ex-Saints assistant Andrew Janocko is coming on board to replace Charles London as quarterbacks coach.
London left the Seahawks to take up the same role with the New York Jets.
Janocko’s arrival is no surprise given he worked with new Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak in New Orleans and when they were both with the Minnesota Vikings. The 36-year-old spent seven seasons with the Vikings in various offensive roles before joining the Chicago Bears as quarterbacks coach. After he was let go in the 2023 offseason, Janocko secured the Saints QBs coach job but when Dennis Allen was fired, it was pretty clear that the entire staff was free to seek employment elsewhere.
Janocko will be the Seahawks’ fifth quarterbacks coach in as many seasons.
