The Los Angeles Chargers have been selected to take part in the 2025 International Game in Brazil.
Jim Harbaugh, Justin Herbert, and company have been named the NFL’s “designated” team for the league’s second-ever game in Brazil.

The team will be playing on a Friday, which falls on September 15th, against an opponent that has not been selected as of yet.
During the 2024 season, the Philadelphia Eagles kicked off their season with a 34-29 win over the Green Bay Packers in Sao Paolo.
Hopefully, the Los Angeles Chargers and their opponent can have better field conditions in 2025. Last year, the Packers lost Jordan Love to a knee injury that had him out for weeks. It was the start of a season where Love had his share of injuries.
Despite the concerns, things must have gone well for the league to return to the same stadium in 2025 for another game.
The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off an 11-6 season in the first year of the Jim Harbaugh era. They had a five-game improvement and qualified for the playoffs. However, they were destroyed by the Houston Texans in the wild card round.
The NFL will play a game in Brazil on Friday night of Week One for the second consecutive year.
The league announced today that the Los Angeles Chargers will play in the game in São Paulo, Brazil, at Corinthians Arena.
The NFL also announced that the team would be the designated home team, so they will lose a home game at SoFi Stadium.
That is not the worst news in the world since the Rams and Chargers regularly have to deal with opposing fan bases taking over their stadium.
