Earlier today, Philadelphia Eagles reporter Jeff McLane tweeted that the Eagles were signing Matt Pryor to a one-year deal.

Pryor played in all 17 games (15 starts) for the Chicago Bears in 2024, mostly at right guard, but he did see some reps at both tackle spots, left guard, and as a sixth offensive lineman. The versatile reserve returns to the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles, who drafted him in the sixth round in 2018, and he figures to provide depth for one of the best offensive lines in the game today.

The contract terms have yet to be announced, but I can’t imagine that it will be more than the $3 million Teven Jenkins received in his one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns.

Chicago’s current crop of reserve offensive linemen includes Kiran Amegadjie, Bill Murray, Jordan McFadden, Doug Kramer Jr., Chris Glaser, Ryan Bates, Ricky Stromberg, Joshua Miles, and Theo Benedet, so drafting one or two offensive linemen seems likely.
