Is this the end for Will Levis?

Jeremy Fowler is reporting that the Tennessee Titans have decided to bench Will Levis and start Mason Rudolph on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts:

This should come as no surprise given what Brian Callahan said after the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday and in his press conference on Monday. It was the first time all year that Callahan did not say that Levis is the team’s starter.

You can also read into this that Callahan has seen all he needs to see from Levis to determine that he is not the guy for this franchise going forward. If there was still any hope that Levis was going to be the guy, they would be doing everything they could to get him some valuable experience over these next three weeks in a lost season. Playin Rudolph in these games does nothing for the franchise long term.

The biggest questions going forward are who will the Titans have under center next year and who are the people that are going to make the decision?
