The Eagles’ offensive coordinator might be the top candidate for the NFL’s only remaining HC vacancy.
Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is expected to meet with the New Orleans Saints for a second interview about their head coaching vacancy on Monday, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport notes that the Saints’ brass will be flying to Philly to speak with Moore in person.
Moore previously had a virtual interview with the Saints leading up to the Eagles’ Divisional Round game against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Saints are the only NFL team with a head coaching vacancy.
Eagles fans have had mixed opinions about Moore this season but there’s no question the OC is coming off his strongest performance with 55 points and 459 yards produced in Philly’s NFC Championship Game win over the Washington Commanders.
As a result, Moore will now be preparing to help the Eagles win Super Bowl LIX.
That is, after he’s done interviewing with the Saints on Monday.
