Brothers Jim and John Harbaugh met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday.
According to a report from Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner, Jim and John Harbaugh were invited to the White House and met with Donald Trump at the Oval Office. Though a White House official confirmed the visit to the newspaper, details of the visit are currently unclear.
As two of the most popular head coaches in the NFL, Jim (HC of the Los Angeles Chargers) and John (Baltimore Ravens) are sure to get more attention for visiting a President as polarizing as Trump.
There’s a good possibility that reporters will ask the Harbaugh brothers about the meeting in their next media availabilities, so stay tuned.
Shaffer mentioned John Harbaugh’s comments in 2015, in which he supported Trump’s idea of building the wall. Here’s what the Ravens HC said at the time:
“I’m going Trump here. Build the wall. If you don’t have a border, you don’t have a country. You’re not a country without a border, right?”

Jim Harbaugh left the Michigan Wolverines in 2024 after leading the school to a national championship, signing a multi-year deal to become head coach of the Chargers. Harbaugh has been head coach of the Ravens since 2008, the second-longest-tenured HC behind Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers (since 2007).
John’s Ravens defeated Jim’s San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 47 back in February 2013. Fast forward 12 years, and both coaches continue the search for a second championship ring in the family.
Jim’s Chargers will kick off the 2025 season against the AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 5. The Ravens will be tested early with a “Sunday Night Football” road game against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
