Patrick Mahomes’ dad, Patrick Mahomes Sr., may have really screwed himself.

In Touch reported earlier this week that Pat Mahomes Sr. failed to show up for a drug test, as ordered by the court, two days after the Super Bowl. His community supervision officer filed a status report on Thursday as part of his DWI case.

To make things even worse, Mahomes Sr. was involved in a heated confrontation with former Major League Baseball pitcher John Rocker on Bourbon Street that looked like they were on the cusp of fighting.

It turns out it was all a work for a scheduled fight between the two for Barstool Sports’ Rough N’ Rowdy.

Unfortunately for him, things will change for him going forward.

A Texas District Attorney is now pleading with a judge to order Patrick Mahomes Sr. to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet, according to In Touch.

The court documents obtained by In Touch state that a District Attorney, along with a community supervisor officer, asked that a condition be added to Patrick Sr.’s sentence.

They wrote: ‘Due to the defendant’s extensive travel outside of Smith County for sports events it’s requested the defendant have an additional portable alcohol monitoring device when he’s not using his vehicle.’

Patrick Mahomes Sr. Showed Up To His Drug Test Day Later

The Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles went down on February 9. Mahomes Sr. was instructed to submit to a urine test on February 11, but he failed to do that.

A grand jury indicted him last year in relation to his arrest for alleged drunk driving in 2024.

During the stop, the officer reportedly noticed an open 16 oz. beer can in the center console. Mahomes revealed that he’d had “a few beers” while watching a game at a bar.

Patrick Mahomes Sr. showed up the following day on February 12 to submit to a urine test, which came back negative.
