There are only so many chances one has in life to “cement” their legacy, as evidenced by Michael Scott at Dunder Mifflin, Scranton branch. So, grab your plastic wrap and bendy straw, and get ready to dive face first into 2025!
In my previous pieces, Season of Gratitude and Maulers and Stalwarts, I challenged readers with a call to action regarding two units of the 2025 Minnesota Vikings: our running back duo and defensive line. What should we call them? More specifically, what do you want me to call them in my articles? These nicknames start somewhere, so who knows, maybe they'll catch on. I can't control what the national media will use, but we can still have an impact on the zeitgeist.
There were some great suggestions, but the time has come to cast our votes. These nicknames will live on forever (at least in my heart) because we decided on them together. The Vikings are in the beginning stages of this season's team-building activities. Let's follow suit and take ownership of our role in the success of the 2025 Minnesota Vikings. This is the season of gratitude and positivity. We have a chance to manifest a Super Bowl, but we all have to work together to impose our will upon the universe. We can start by putting our stamp on this team's identity.
