Reacts Survey Results: Jaguars fans select a team MVP through 4 games

This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans who the team’s most valuable player has been through four games.

41% of fans chose Devin Lloyd, and Travis Etienne was the runner-up with 32% of votes.

Earlier this week, Lloyd was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month. He is the first Jaguars defender to earn the award since Mike Peterson in December 2005.

“It’s awesome, man,” Trevor Lawrence said Thursday. “I’m just proud of him, the way he’s been playing. I mean, we’ve been here together a few years now, and seeing how hard he’s worked and all the things that are put in behind the scenes that people don’t see, and to see all that paying off for him and him just playing with confidence and flying around and making a bunch of plays. There’s nothing better than seeing a guy that deserves it, that is actually going out there and doing it and playing so good.”

Lloyd currently leads the NFL with 4 takeaways (3 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery). His 91.0 PFF grade ranks second among linebackers and seventh among all defenders.

“To me, he’s just a true three-down linebacker,” Anthony Campanile said Friday. “He’s able to cover, he’s able to rush, blitz, and he’s able to set the edge early down, play off the ball … And he’s worked so hard, that guy. Just everything that he does fundamentally every day is showing up in the games and he really has done a great job building up a lot of that in his skillset over the course of the last few months.”

As for the confidence survey, 95% of fans are confident in the direction of the team — up from 88% last week.

Sheesh!

I wonder if that figure will reach 100% if the Jaguars topple the Chiefs on Monday Night Football.
