Ravens vs. Dolphins Inactives: Sanoussi Kane and Aeneas Peebles inactive again

With just over an hour remaining before kickoff, the Baltimore Ravens have announced their inactives their Week 9 matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.

Inactives:

  • S Sanoussi Kane
  • CB Jaire Alexander
  • OT Carson Vinson
  • OL Emery Jones
  • WR Devontez Walker
  • DL Aeneas Peebles
  • QB Cooper Rush (3rd QB)

Earlier today, the Ravens made two practice squad elevations for this game: DT Taven Bryan and S Keondre Jackson. Bryan and Jackson will effectively take the place of Peebles and Kane as depth pieces on the defensive line and at safety, respectively. The latter two are both inactive again for consecutive weeks after previously being regulars earlier in the year.

Jaire Alexander, Carson Vinson and Devontez Walker are inactive again. Alexander’s inactive status has been routine now for almost the entire season. The Ravens continue to deploy T.J. Tampa and Keyon Martin as the backup cornerbacks with a heavy diet of three safety alignments in the defensive backfield.

Emery Jones is inactive for likely the final week as his long-awaited debut nears closer. Cooper Rush has been downgraded to the emergency No. 3 quarterback after Tyler Huntley usurped him as Lamar Jackson’s primary backup.
