Baltimore Beatdown
The Baltimore Ravens are set to face the Dallas Cowboys for their second preseason exhibition. Of course, the Ravens will not be featuring the majority of their starters as they protect them from potential injury before the regular season; however, they have a significant amount of players to see in action as they compete for playing time or to make the 53-man roster.
The Ravens announced backup quarterback Cooper Rush will once again start. Rush, 31, spent all seven seasons of his career with the Cowboys before signing with the Ravens on a two-year deal this offseason. This will be his first time on the opponent sideline at AT&T Stadium.
Rush’s first game as a Raven wasn’t the outing he’d hoped for. His first pass was an interception and he finished the game going 2-of-4 passing for 16 yards and an interception.
