The Baltimore Ravens received some good news about their recently injured star tight end.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely was carted to the locker room at the end of the team’s latest training camp practice with an apparent lower-leg injury. It looks like he avoided a major injury, though.

According to ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler, Likely suffered a small foot fracture, and if all goes well, it’s an early season return and Week 1 is possible.

Likely will have surgery this week to fix a broken bone in his foot, which will sideline him for about six weeks, per NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

His injury update aligns with what Ravens head coach John Harbaugh shared after practice. He said Likely rolled his ankle and is expected to be out a few weeks.

Likely suffered the injury during a one-on-one rep against safety Sanoussi Kane. He went down and was seen grabbing his left leg near his ankle. He punched the ground in frustration and later hobbled into the Ravens’ facility, putting very little weight on his foot, according to The Baltimore Banner.

All in all, it’s great news for Baltimore since Likely is a key piece to its offense. Last season, he recorded a career-high 42 catches for 477 yards and six touchdowns, and many believe he will take his game to another level in 2025.

Likely also has 12 catches for 147 yards and three touchdowns in six career games against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With training camp underway, the Ravens are now the new Super Bowl favorites at BetOnline.ag (13/2). The Buffalo Bills (7/1), defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (7/1), Kansas City Chiefs (8/1) and Detroit Lions (9/1) round out the top 5.

The oddsmakers apparently love what Baltimore has done this offseason, and now that Likely has a good chance to be good to go by Week 1, that will likely stay the case.

In his three-year NFL career, Likely has 108 receptions for 1,261 yards and 14 touchdowns.
