Rashod Bateman put up career highs in both receiving yards (756) and touchdowns (9) during the 2024 season.

For the second consecutive offseason, the Ravens are signing wide receiver Rashod Bateman to a contract extension. After extending the former first-round pick through the 2026 season in 2024, the Ravens are now giving Bateman a sizable raise with a three-year, $36.75 million extension with a guaranteed $20 million.

During the 2024 campaign, Bateman finally broke out in his fourth professional season with a career high 756 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 45 receptions. In the three seasons prior, Bateman had only found the end zone four times and only once broke the 500-yard receiving threshold. He became a more reliable deep target for quarterback Lamar Jackson as well, posting a new high mark of 10.5 yards per target to go with 16.8 yards per reception.

Despite the Ravens offense preferring to produce through the ground game via Jackson and running back Derrick Henry, Bateman showed he could be that trustworthy target on intermediate to deep routes utilized off the play-action game.

Entering the 2025 season, it remains to be seen if Bateman will continue this level of production with the addition of All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins now in the fold. At the same time, locking down a solid WR3 with WR2 upside for your two-time MVP is never a bad idea, either.
