Baltimore Ravens rookie cornerback Bilhal Kone suffered a gnarly-looking knee injury during the first quarter of Thursday night’s preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts.
Late in the first quarter, Bilhal Kone was defending against Ashton Dulin in the Ravens’ end zone as a pass fell incomplete. Kone fell to the ground and grabbed at his left leg, and a trainer quickly rushed onto the field.
Be warned that the injury is awfully gruesome-looking, and some may be disturbed by the content below:

Unfortunately, Bilhal Kone and the Ravens quickly received the worst-case scenario. Soon after the injury, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that Kone suffered ACL and MCL tears and would miss his entire rookie year.
The 23-year-old was drafted in the sixth round (178th overall) by the Ravens following a two-year stint at Western Michigan. In his final year of college football, Kone recorded one interception, nine pass breakups and two fumble recoveries.
The Ravens entered 2025 with one of the deepest secondaries in the league, led by Kyle Hamilton, Marlon Humphrey, Nate Wiggins and Malaki Starks. With Kone missing his entire rookie year, however, the Ravens will have to move quickly to find a suitable replacement.
