Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is not practicing on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday with an ankle injury, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

Jackson’s injury will be something to monitor leading up to Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium. It’s unclear how serious his ankle injury is, and it’s likely the Ravens are just being cautious given the multitude of injuries he’s already dealt with.

Jackson has already missed several games this season due to injury. From Weeks 4-8, he was sidelined with a hamstring injury. Then he popped up on the injury report again with a knee injury in Week 11 and an ankle injury in Week 12.

Tyler Huntley would start against the Steelers if Jackson can’t go on Sunday.

The Steelers had no answer for the Buffalo Bills’ rushing attack in Sunday’s embarrassing 26-7 loss.

It was a historic performance by Buffalo, as the Bills’ 249 yards rushing were the most ever for a road team at Acrisure Stadium. The Bills’ 249 yards rushing was the most at Pittsburgh by an opposing team since 1975 (Buffalo – 310 yards on 9/28/75).

The Ravens’ rushing attack will be another daunting task for the Steelers, especially with Jackson under center. The Steelers allowed the Ravens to rush for 299 yards in last year’s Wild Card round playoff loss.

When Jackson has played this season, he has looked like his normal self for the most part, completing 130 of his 195 passes (66.7%) for 1,595 yards, 15 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He’s also added another 237 yards and a score on the ground.

After starting the season 1-5, Baltimore has rattled off five straight wins to take back the lead in the AFC North, which they are now the favorites to win.

That could change once again if Jackson were to miss time, though. During his absence, Ravens backup quarterback Cooper Rush threw for just 303 yards, zero touchdowns and four interceptions. Third string quarterback Tyler Huntley even stepped in.
