The Pittsburgh Steelers enter their Week 5 bye at 3-1 and sitting atop the AFC North, and the latest news might have Steelers fans getting ready to buy tickets for a home playoff game for the first time in almost a decade.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson suffered a hamstring injury against the Kansas City Chiefs in the second half of their Week 4 tilt, which caused him to miss the remainder of the game. This caused a discourse on the two-time MVP, with some saying he took himself out of the game and quit on Baltimore. However, that narrative was quickly shut down.

Per Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun, Jackson is expected to miss the next 2-3 games. This puts Cooper Rush in line to start games against the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams before their bye week in Week 7. If that’s the case, there is a very real shot that Baltimore is 1-5, meaning the Steelers would have a stranglehold on the AFC North even if they just split the next two games against the Browns and Bengals. A 4-2 record while the Raves sit at 1-5, or 2-3 for that matter, if they end up stealing a game, would have the Steelers in prime position to win the division.
