Baltimore Beatdown
The Ravens are one step closer to having two franchise legends enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Terrell Suggs and Marshall Yanda were announced as finalists for the Class of 2026 on Tuesday, putting them on the doorstep of a permanent spot in Canton.
Suggs and Yanda both reached this stage last year. Now, they must receive 80% of the vote from the Hall of Fame Selection Committee for a final spot. Results will be announced at the NFL Honors ceremony in February.
There is some irony in Suggs and Yanda, the best edge rusher and right guard in franchise history, receiving such recognition in a year when those positions are the team’s biggest roster holes. If you were to ask fans which player could be pulled out of retirement to reinforce the current squad, Suggs and Yanda would probably be the top two answers*.*
The Ravens will have to make do with Daniel Faalele and their current crop of edge rushers for the rest of the season.
