The Baltimore Ravens have fired John Harbaugh, who had been their head coach since 2008, following their disappointing 2025 season.
Sunday night felt do-or-die for Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, but it seems it might have also been for the Baltimore Ravens head coach. On Tuesday, reports emerged that John Harbaugh is no longer the head coach in Baltimore.

The loss comes following a plethora of firings in week 18. Among those included is Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.
However, Harbaugh is the latest in the coaching carousel. After 18 seasons in Baltimore that included a Super Bowl victory, the Ravens will look to another head coach to get the most out of Lamar Jackson’s prime years.
Sunday night’s “AFC North Championship” was the 40th installment of Harbaugh-Tomlin, and it certainly was the biggest matchup since 2008. The winner punched their postseason ticket while the loser’s season ended.
Not only did it end for Harbaugh, but it might have cost him his job. The Steelers have had their way with the Ravens as of late. Couple that with Baltimore coming up short with high expectations, and the 2025 campaign’s bitter ending might have done it for Harbaugh.
