Bills fans were primarily responsible for a flood of donations a charity linked with Mark Andrews received after the Ravens tight end dropped a crucial pass in a playoff game against Buffalo. Now, Baltimore supporters are responding in kind by rallying behind Dalton Kincaid after he came painfully close to hauling in what ended up being Josh Allen’s final throw of the season.

Most NFL fans were relying on the Buffalo Bills to end Kansas City’s reign of terror in the AFC Championship Game showdown that marked the seventh consecutive year the Chiefs had the chance to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.

The Bills were also hoping to avenge their loss in their most recent AFC Championship appearance in 2021, and we were ultimately treated to a fantastic back-and-forth contest where they had the chance to either tie things up or take the lead after the Chiefs kicked a field goal to go up 32-29 with around 3:30 left in the fourth quarter.

Buffalo found itself faced with a do-or-die 4th-and-5 at midfield coming out of the two-minute warning, and while Josh Allen did what he could to connect with Dalton Kincaid on a fairly desperate heave, the tight end was unable to haul in the catch he probably should have made (a reception that would have put his team on the cusp of field goal range with plenty of time to score).

The drop in question was decidedly less egregious than the one Ravens TE Mark Andrews wasn’t able to snag during a failed two-point conversion that essentially sealed Buffalo’s spot in the AFC Championship, although there was a silver lining when you consider Bills Mafia helped raise close to $150,000 for a charity he’s worked with after throwing their support behind him.

On Monday, a member of the Baltimore faithful responded in kind by launching a GoFundMe to raise money for The Summit Center, a “provider of evidence-based services for children and adults with autism and other developmental, social, and behavioral challenges” that Kincaid has worked with in the past.

As of this writing, the fundraiser has generated close to $9,000 for the cause, and it will likely be much, much more by the time everything is said and done based on how rapidly that number has been rising.

Well done.
