Tyler Loop, missing a 44-yard field goal, still has Ravens fans in disbelief.
Loop upset thousands of Baltimore Ravens fans on Sunday night. He cost at least one man a lot of money. One guy lost out on his $100,000 wager as he watched him miss that kick.
He was in the same disbelief as Lamar Jackson when he watched the kick sail to the right. The Baltimore Ravens went into Week 18 with a chance to win the AFC North and advance to the playoffs. A season that started 1-5 could’ve had a different ending with that kick.
The Steelers scored a touchdown with 55 seconds left in the game. However, kicker Chris Boswell missed the extra point. Everything was set up for Tyler Loop to be the hero. The moment proved to be way too big for him. Since his missed kick, numerous videos have come out showing the reactions of Ravens fans.
One video going viral shows numerous Ravens going into complete silence after that missed field goal.
Damn: This group of Ravens fans' reaction to rookie kicker Tyler Loop missing the game-winning field goal has gone viral.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ 2025 season is over, and it was at the hands of a missed field goal. Jackson wanted nothing to do with Tyler Loop after the game. He informed reporters that he didn’t speak with him after the game.
Speaking to reporters in the wake of the Ravens’ 26-24 loss, Derrick Henry had a different response. Henry shared some details from his talk with Loop after he missed a 44-yard field goal that would have sent the Ravens to the playoffs.
“I feel for Tyler,” Henry said.
“I just told him to keep his spirits up, deal with it tonight, and then tomorrow the sun rises again. I just told him the story after this is gonna be great for him because God put him in this position to use him as an example. … Can’t wait to see him overcome it on the other side. I just told him to trust God’s plan, man. He wouldn’t have put him in this position if he wasn’t strong enough to handle it.”
It was a win-or-go-home game with the victor securing the AFC North title and a home playoff game in the AFC Wild Card Round. The moment was simply too big for Loop. Despite the disappointing ending, Loop spoke to the media after the game and took responsibility for the miss.
Hopefully, he gets another chance to redeem himself in the future.
