Is Rashee Rice’s former girlfriend having a change of heart?
The ex-girlfriend of the Chiefs’ wide receiver made serious allegations of domestic violence in a social media post last Tuesday. Dacoda Jones claimed in the Instagram post that she “dealt with abuse for years.” She added that following the breakup between “me and this man,” she has been dealing with “nothing but hell.”
Jones did not name her alleged abuser, but it was obvious who she was talking about. The post included 14 photos that were alleged to show the physical abuse that Jones had suffered. It included cuts to her lip, bruises on her legs and arm, various marks and cuts on her face, and damage to property.
The Chiefs acknowledged in a statement that they were aware of the allegations. They added that the team “is in communication with the National Football League.” They declined to make any further comment. All seemed to be quiet as the playoffs continued.
That was until Rashee Rice’s baby mama made a startling decision.
The Rashee Rice domestic abuse allegations story has seen a new, unpredictable turn. That lengthy Instagram post describing alleged threats and abuse has disappeared. The post included personal details and images that quickly circulated across social media. You will no longer find it on her page.
Just as quickly as the allegations spread, however, the post vanished without explanation.
“An Instagram post from an account associated with an ex-girlfriend of Chiefs WR Rashee Rice detailing allegations of domestic violence by an unnamed person, accompanied with photos, has been deleted,” wrote ChiefsDigest.com reporter Matt Derrick.
No clarification accompanied the deletion. Neither Jones nor Rashee Rice has publicly addressed why the post was removed. Could something be worked out behind the scenes? We won’t find out until an update is posted.
