One of the victims from Rashee Rice’s car crash has reacted to the NFL’s decision on the matter, blasting the league for what she reckons is a senseless decision.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ star WR will be suspended but will still be able to play the first few games of the season. The pertinent disciplinary hearing will be held after the beginning of the 2025 NFL campaign.

Attorney Marc Lenahan, who sued Rice on behalf of Kathryn Kuykendall after she suffered multiple injuries, has told TMZ Sports that the situation is unbelievable, given that they are awaiting a $1 million settlement that was agreed upon in April.

**“It makes no sense,” Lenahan argued.

“Poor Rashee says he can play, but can’t pay. He says his groin has healed up, but he still hasn’t grown up.”

Lawyer Blasts NFL For Not Putting Pressure On Rashee Rice To Pay Up

The lawyer also slammed the league for showing a lack of empathy toward the crash victims following Rice’s reckless actions. The wideout, who was racing on a Dallas street at over 100 mph, caused a multi-vehicle accident and then fled the scene instead of sticking around to help the injured parties.

Lenahan was likely even more upset after Chiefs head coach Andy Reid cracked a joke about Rashee Rice’s Arrest at a recent presser.

“The NFL is sending Poor Rashee to São Paulo to live it up,” he added, “instead of to Wells Fargo to get a loan so he can pay up.”

Rice was arrested and charged for the accident, pleading guilty to two felonies, including racing on a highway causing bodily injury, and collision involving serious bodily injury.
