NFL legend Randy Moss returned to ESPN for the network’s coverage of Super Bowl 59 this Sunday and was unable to hold back the tears as he thanked those who were in his corner while he battled cancer.

The former wide receiver disclosed doctors found a cancerous mass between his pancreas and liver after fans grew concerned about his health when they noticed his eyes were yellow on television.

He revealed having undergone a six-hour surgery to remove the mass and could not walk without a cane.

Moss, who is now cancer-free, was back on ‘NFL Countdown’ on Sunday morning, where he fessed up to being a “crybaby.”

“Hey y’all, I couldn’t do it alone, and I really thank y’all,” he said while fighting through tears after a heartwarming tribute from the likes of Tom Brady, Justin Jefferson, Kevin Garnett, and others.

“Hey guys, it’s been hard,” he added, “but I got a lot of love, and a lot of people believe in me, man, so I’m happy to be here.”

Randy Moss Is Thankful For The Prayers

Moss then went on to thank his supporters for helping him return to the air, giving shoutouts to his wife, doctors, and those who kept him in their prayers.

“I beat this thing, and my goal was to be here with you guys,” he continued. “So, man, God bless you guys for staying strong with me, with the prayers.”

The entire football community was rooting for Randy to “Moss cancer.”

We’re incredibly thrilled to see him return.
