Random Ramsdom: Justin Jefferson praises Puka Nacua
Turf Show Times Turf Show Times

Justin Jefferson is arguably the best receiver in the league, and I am going to guess that Puka Nacua has heard of him, and I am going to guess that Nacua won’t lose sleep over Jefferson not praising Nacua, but he also may take some solace if Jefferson were to shout him and out and guess what? Jefferson did shout out Nacua saying that he respects his game. Pretty cool. I am here for that.

In other news, are you ready for some preseason Los Angeles Rams football tonight?

My hope is you had a nice week, and will have and or are having a nice weekend. Please comment on whatever you want and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!

Puka Nacua has earned the respect of Justin Jefferson: ‘Definitely a fan’ (ramswire)

“Justin Jefferson praised the Rams’ third-year receiver, complimenting Nacua’s ability to create separation, catch the ball and create yards after the catch with his physicality. Jefferson declared himself a fan of Nacua – and in all honesty, who isn’t one?

“Just his ability to catch the ball,” Jefferson said. “I mean, that’s our main job is to catch the ball, get open, make plays downfield. That’s definitely what he’s doing. Just seeing his ability to create some separation and get upfield and seeing how strong and how physical he is, I’m definitely a fan.”

Rams WR Puka Naca cracks NFL top-50 ranking (sports.yahoo)

“An unfortunate knee injury struck Nacua early in his sophomore season, limiting his time on the field and preventing the Rams and fans alike from seeing how he could have built on his unexpectedly sensational rookie campaign over a full 17-game slate. But when he was on the field, Nacua was dynamic as ever, almost hitting the 1,000-yard benchmark even while missing six games and adding another 141 receiving yards in the playoffs. With the Rams releasing Cooper Kupp earlier this offseason, L.A made it clear that the team trusts Nacua to step into that WR1 role, hoping 2025 can mark a return to health and continued impact for the 2023 late-round draft gem.

From his return in Week 8 to the end of the regular season, Puka Nacua led all wide receivers with a target rate of 39.8% (min. 150 routes).“

Jared Verse addresses injury scare from Rams training camp (si.com)

“Known for being a little bit of a comedian, Verse teased fans on socal media after exiting practice.

Shortly after posting a cryptic ‘…’ tweet on social media, Verse was kind enough to let everyone know that he’s all good.

“Nah, I’m fine, I’m playing with ya’ll,” Verse wrote in a now deleted post to Twitter.“
