Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 6/10/25
I suppose I’ll never know whether or not this is a fact, but the reports/rumors are that the Pittsburgh Steelers really wanted Matthew Stafford in their building over Aaron Rodgers. I’m not sure if that is surprising, but it’s interesting.
“The Pittsburgh Steelers have a new quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, but he wasn’t their preferred choice.
The team reportedly prioritized trading for Matthew Stafford or re-signing Justin Fields before Rodgers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.”
I get the Rodgers fatigue, but I hope people understand he’s a starting quarterback in the NFL, so everything he does or doesn’t do is news. That’s how it works. With that being said, I am glad that the Los Angeles Rams were able to hang on to Stafford, but I am curious what this season would have looked like with Rodgers.
I am very curious to see how the Steelers season goes, especially given that Rodgers may have not even be their first choice.
It’s all quite interesting.
