Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 6/9/25
I recently used a Random Ramsdom to ask if there was any chance the Pittsburgh Steelers would want Tutu Atwell, and I now I am asking if he’ll be a key to making the Los Angeles Rams offense one of the best in the NFL?
What should be expect from Atwell if he starts for L.A. most of the season? Will he be a consistent contributor, or will be just have some big games here and there?
Feel free to take a guess! We won’t know what Atwell’s role in the offense looks like until the season get going.
In the meantime, thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!
“Yeah, just go out and be the best Tutu you can be. We all know what his superpower is because he can run and that’s a trait that, especially at his level and his elite level of speed, it scares defenses. It scares defenders. So just go out there, use that elite trait and what we do know about him is he’s not obviously in weight the biggest guy, right? He might be 155 (lbs) soaking wet, but he is ‘rangey.’ He’s long,” LaFleur said.
“He’s not a hard target to hit because he’s loose in the upper body. You can throw it around and he doesn’t feel like a small guy. When he’s gotten his opportunities, he’s made the most of it. You would think the way it is on paper right now he’s going to get the most opportunities he’s had. We’ll see how it all unfolds but he’s had a really good offseason and you just love Tutu. So happy he’s back with us.”
“I checked in with a couple of people on the Jalen Ramsey situation this week, and I was told nothing is imminent. There have been conversations draft weekend and throughout May in regards to Jalen Ramsey, there’s interest, but right now, there’s nothing imminent. There’s nothing closing.”
“At this moment, it’s been relatively quiet, but one thing I was told is to keep an eye on that July 1 date, the Dolphins would take a over $25 million cap hit if they traded him before July 1. That number drops to under $7 million if they trade him after July 1. And a lot of people were looking and saying Jalen Ramsey is one of their best players. He’s been elite. All these things are true, but I talked with their defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver today about the situation, and his quote kind of sums up why the Dolphins and Ramsey are here.”
“Following Organized Team Activities, Rams Defensive Coordinator Chris Shula gave an update on multiple Rams players, including defensive lineman Braden Fiske and cornerback Emmanuel Forbes. Fiske is working...
