Davante Adams had done well with his injury status all year long. It came to an end on Sunday.

Adams only got a limited Friday practice in during Week 15 prep, so he was ready to go.

The star wideout — who has been nursing a hamstring injury in recent weeks – suffered another one on Sunday. He pulled up while running a deep route against the Lions. He stayed on the ground for some time before limping off the field to the sideline.

Davante Adams eventually went right to the locker room for further evaluation.

Adams has four catches for 71 yards so far on Sunday.

Davante has come a long way since his terrible tenure wth the Jets and Raiders.

Adams signed a two-year, $46 million deal with the Rams following his release by the Jets this year. Coming into the game, Adams had 56 catches for 718 yards. He was averaging 12.8 yards per catch in his first season with the Rams.
