Are we in for a high-scoring affair and an upset?
The state of the NFC was thrown into disarray last night, as the top-seeded Lions were stunned by the Commanders. Now, it’ll be the Commanders taking on the winner of the Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles game today. Who will advance to the NFC Championship game?
In the NFC, we’ve seen two teams with major letdowns in the Minnesota Vikings and the Lions, and the entire NFC North has been eliminated from the postseason. Philadelphia and Los Angeles both grabbed the bull by the horns last week and thrived in their respective wins over the Packers and Vikings, respectively.
These two teams met in the middle of the season, and Philadelphia came out on top 37-20. The story of the game was the Eagles’ rushing attack, as Saquon Barkley had 255 yards rushing. The Rams were also 0-of-8 on third down. After that loss, the Rams won their next five games. I envision a high-scoring affair with clutch plays from both sides, but the Rams get the late go-ahead touchdown to stun Philly.
The game starts at 3:00 pm ET and will be televised on NBC. Rams 30, Eagles 27
