Jaguars fans, who are you picking in tonight’s game between the Rams and 49ers?
Thursday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:15 p.m. EST as the 6-7 San Francisco 49ers host the 7-6 Los Angeles Rams at Levi’s Stadium.
The Niners are 3-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and the total is 49.5 points.
I like the Rams to cover and win outright. Kyle Shanahan has a 10-6 record over Sean McVay, but the latter has won the past two matchups. And McVay’s team is peaking at the right time, as pretty much all of its offensive weapons are healthy, but the Niners are not at full strength. Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey are on injured reserve, Deebo Samuel looks like a shell of his former self, Brock Purdy is dealing with a sore shoulder, and Trent Williams and Nick Bosa have been in-and-out.
Bosa is questionable for tonight’s game. I like the Niners’ chances a lot more if he suits up, but either way, it feels like L.A. is better set up for success than S.F.
