The Los Angeles Rams swooping up Myles Garrett piqued the interest of franchise legend Aaron Donald. The Super Bowl LVI winner Donald is now teasing a comeback to LA and pursuing one more ring. Donald hasn’t committed to returning yet, but actor and superfan O’Shea Jackson Jr. sent a sales pitch to “A.D.” Thursday.
The star of the 2015 film Straight Outta Compton and Den of Thieves sent a letter to Donald via the social media website X, formerly Twitter. Jackson, the son of rapper/actor/director and fellow LA superfan Ice Cube, even revealed a conversation he had with Donald.
“Hey it’s me again,” the letter begins. “Remember when you said if we got Micah Parsons you’d consider coming out of retirement? Man that was crazy right? Woulda been dope.”
Then came Jackson’s sales pitch for Donald to come back.
“Anyways now we got Myles Garrett. So I think we should be a hair above ‘consider’ no?” Jackson asked. “Anyways. I hope this message finds you well.”
The 35-year-old isn’t shy about his fandom for the Rams. He even recreated his father’s famed 1995 classic “Friday” with a Rams twist ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Garrett deal fired off lots of reactions across the league and sports world. Although rising young Rams defender Jared Verse became a part of the deal. The 2024 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year heads to Cleveland along with some draft capital in exchange for Garrett. Verse himself admitted to feeling caught by surprise plus dropped an “upset” take. But now is ready to embrace his new home.
