The Los Angeles Rams (8-2) beat the Seattle Seahawks (7-3) by a final score of 21-19 in Week 11 of the 2025 season. This was a hard-fought, tight game between two very talented and well-coached teams, and as the final moments in the game wound down, it was the Rams who came away with the win and sole possession of the NFC West.

The game began with Seattle forcing a turnover on downs for the Rams, but on Seattle’s first offensive drive, L.A. forced an interception. The Rams captilized with a touchdown and a 7-0 lead after a Kyren Williams rushing score, and a successful extra point by Harrison Mevis.

L.A. ended up with a 14-3 lead to end the first quarter, and Seattle ended up putting up 9 more points via field goals to make the score 14-12 with plenty of time to go.

A theme throughout this game is that the Rams did give up some yards, but they kept Seattle out of the endzone (for the most part) and they forced four interceptions on Darnold. On a day where L.A.’s offense was slower than it’s been the last few games, L.A. defense was critical to keep the Rams going.

Sure, the defense wasn’t and hasn’t been perfect, but Chris Shula continues to show he more than belongs in the NFL as a defensive coordinator, if not a future head coach.

The Rams stalled a bit and failed to score again until the start of the fourth quarter (after Kam Kinchens’s second interception of the day), but the Rams did extend their lead to 21-12 after a Colby Parkinson passing score from Stafford.

With still over 14-minutes in regulation, the game was far from over.

The score stayed 21-12 for awhile as Darnold and Seattle gave the Rams chances to score, but L.A. failed to put the game away as Seattle hung around while trailing by nine.

Seattle was able to score their first touchdown of the day with 2:23 to go in the fourth, as L.A.’s lead lessened with a score of 21-19 after the extra point.

L.A.‘s offense failed to do much on their next possession, and they were forced to punt giving Seattle a chance to win with under 2-minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

Ethan Evans wound up punting it down to the 1-yard line, and Seattle responded by getting Jason Meyers just inside field goal range with 1-second left on the clock.

Meyers would miss the dramtic kick, the Rams found a way to win, and are now in first place of the NFC West as they prepare the play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football next week.
