If not Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, what do you want to talk about?
It’s usually around this time in the offseason that fans get exhausted by certain storylines and this year — honestly, like a lot of years — the Rams are at the center of the NFL rumor mill.
Many in the NFL media are calling Matthew Stafford “the biggest domino” that has to fall before anything else can happen, while Cooper Kupp announced to the world that he’s on the trade block.
Therefore it is not surprising that Rams fans and fans of other NFL teams want regular updates about Stafford and Kupp even when there are no updates to be shared. This is not a writer making a defense for regularly posting about Stafford and Kupp, it’s merely an observation of our reality:
Fans are thinking about Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp’s future everyday until there is a resolution, so naturally fans — not writers — want spaces to read and talk about those players at the center of the rumor mill.
Of course, this has not stopped Turf Show Times from consistently posting content unrelated or tangentially related to those two players, including the insanely thorough offseason plan work by Blaine Grisak, ideas for what to do with Kyren Williams by JB Scott, draft content from everyone including Danny Stone and Venie Soares and Evan Craig, bold predictions by Dylan Deines, and the daily in-5 trivia game.
So in today’s reverse Q and A — in which YOU are the interview subject and I ask questions of the community in the comments section below — I want to ask the people who feel like there’s too much coverage of the two biggest stories in the NFL right now, what are you looking for instead?
I’ll post six questions in the comments below. This is your chance to tell us what you’re missing!
