Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua took a brutal hit, then collapsed, in a brief moment of terror against the Detroit Lions before thankfully getting right back up.
Moments after Davante Adams left the game in the fourth quarter with a gruesome-looking leg injury, Puka Nacua took a vicious hit from behind while being tackled to the ground. In a scary scene, he briefly collapsed and stayed down in visible pain.

Soon after, the Fox Sports broadcast announced that Nacua only suffered cramps. Thankfully, he was cleared to return and came back on the field soon after. LA held on for a tight 41-34 victory to maintain their hold on the NFC’s top seed.
Per ESPN, Puka Nacua finished the day with nine catches for 181 yards in the victory. Before the injury, Adams had four catches for 71 yards.
The Rams’ victory was especially pivotal. The rival Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers both won on Sunday afternoon. Sean McVay’s squad still controls its own destiny for the conference’s top seed.
