Rams’ Puka Nacua blasts NFL referees — ‘They want to be on TV’

The Los Angeles Rams have been one of the better teams in the NFL, and it’s been mostly because of their play on offense. Puka Nacua has led the way for the unit, as he’s having a good season with Matthew Stafford throwing him the ball. Though everything seems well, Nacua still has some issues, and it’s with the referees.

While Nacua was on a stream with Adin Ross, he spoke about the referees.

“The refs are the worst. These guys are lawyers. They want to be on TV too. You don’t think he’s texting his friends in the group chat like, ‘Yo, you just saw me on Sunday Night Football. That wasn’t PI but I called it,'” Nacua said.

It would not be a surprise if a fine were coming for Nacua, especially if the NFL finds out that he said it. The funny thing is that many players may feel the same way Nacua feels, but they’d rather keep the money they have in their pockets.

The Rams will be getting ready for a big divisional matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, and it might be Nacua who has to have a big game for them to win. Davante Adams is unlikely to play due to injury, so it will be up to Nacua and the other receivers to step up.

The same happened earlier in the season when Nacua missed time, and Adams was able to step up in his absence. The Rams’ offense has been on fire, and whether it’s the pass or run game, they have found a way to dominate their opponents. The NFC West has been competitive this season, and if the Rams want to stay in the driver’s seat, getting another win against the Seahawks will be big and help their chances of winning the division.
