The Los Angeles Rams don’t play until Sunday afternoon, but the Week 18 Saturday games are chock full of implications.
The first game features the Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers, two potential Wild Card opponents for the Rams. If Los Angeles lands at five, they will face one of these teams. That kicks off at 4:30 p.m. Eastern/1:30 p.m. Pacific.
The late game features two familiar foes in the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. If the Rams win this week and the Seahawks win this week, the Rams are the five seed and travel to the winner of the NFC North. If the 49ers win, the Rams are locked into the six seed and will travel to the three seed, either the Chicago Bears or the Philadelphia Eagles. It stands to reason that the Rams would probably prefer the five seed and are rooting for the Seahawks tonight.
