You’ve been waiting plenty long to read these words: The Los Angeles Rams host the Dallas Cowboys tonight for some (preseason) football action! Not sure how to watch? Never fear, Turf Show Times has you covered, here’s our how to watch guide!
I’d stream this one for you, but that’s not legal, so we’d never do that. Never.
That aside, you should be able to check out this game, and I expect both teams to get their shots in. Reportedly the Rams dominated the Cowboys in practice this week, but that was just practice, tonight each team gets a chance to show their fan bases and the league they are ready (or not).
Dallas, at time of this writing, is still trying to figure out how to keep Micah Parsons, and as silly as that looks for the Cowboys, it does give other players a chance to practice and showout, so expect Dallas to be flying around tonight as their players try to make the Dallas roster and or show their value to other teams around the league.
For the Rams, preseason games really aren’t as important. Sean McVay historically doesn’t play key players in the preseason, but those that do play get the chance to put their best effort on tape, and some of those players will make the final roster, but many will also likely find themsevles looking for roster spots elsewhere as Les Snead and McVay try to figure out which players to keep and which players to let walk.
So no, tonight is not the NFL regular season, but in a desert, we’ll take what we can get, and what we get is Week 1 of the NFL preseason.
Enjoy the game, comment away and get ready for this long journey ahead with Turf Show Times!
